The place where a bunch of cool people hang out bosch

Nellyville

Well today I got back from Ashland, I took a pretty spur of the moment trip to Ashland with my pal Dave. We were visiting Chris Bell and Corey Chavez who live in a crazy nice aparment attached to this big crazy place called the Hidden Springs Wellness center. On Wednesday we hiked a long ways up to this cool place near Lithia Park. It was a hard climb but the mountainous forest area made for some cool views from up above. I didn't get to meet as many hippies as I would have liked but I met a few and they were all pretty wacky! This one gal named Sapphire was apparently pretty high up on the hippie chain of comand and she talked a bunch about how her crew does firedancing and shit. She even had some crazy firedancing bolos that with which she did some cool tricks. Also she was bisexual and kept dropping references to weird sexy shit. And she said she'd had two suicide attempts in the past year! And she was pretty hot, but her teeth were slightly messed up. She had one huge dreadlock on the back of her head from the bottom hairline that was huge and crazy and I touched it and it was really hard! It looked kind of like a big turd made of hair. I don't know, I'm still on the fence about crazy hippies because some of them are pretty cool but also most of them are highly nuts and I really can't relate to them at all! And even though you'd think hippies would smoek a lot of pot, I've still never seen a hippie smoke a shitload of weed. Also, none of the hippies I met had really all that great of weed. They get it for cheap but it seems to be very relatively midsy. I mean, I know really good pot when I see it and I didn't see any really good pot in Ashland! Oh well, that wasn't why I was there! It was nice to spend some more time in Ashland since it's a very unique town and I still haven't seen very much of it.
On the way down and back from Ashland I listened to a lot of crazy gangsta rap, which was wacky. When you listen to a bunch of gangsta rap songs in a row, the bullshit starts to pile up so fast that you need a Segway scooter just to stay balanced. I made the sassy comment that if black people really killed each other as much as they say, there wouldn't be many black people left. Ba-zing! Take that, gangster rappers. We also listened to my RZA mix which is basically just a bunch of wu-Tang shit. I was thinking about how the Wu-Tang name has been turned into a brand, but kind of a half-assed brand for sure. On the other hand, at least they're still miles beyond the Hypnotize Minds crew! Hoo-boy!
Well, Valentines Day is just around the corner. Who's your valentine? I wrote Pope John Paul II asking him to be my valentine, but hasn't written back yet! Arrrgh! Urrrrgh! Ooooof! I hope I can find somebody to be my valentine because I've been looking for an excuse to buy a genuine Vermont Teddy Bear Company teddy bear. I hear women just love those things.
While I was in Ashland I listened to an album called "Snowflakes Are Dancing" by Aiso Tomita (based on the music of Claude Debussy). It was supposedly the first album using only synthesized instruments. It's pretty coooool and you've probably already heard parts of it at some point in your life. You might have listened to the song "Too Late" by Talib Kweli, a pretty unique track. Wellll that cool spooky sound at the beginning is actually a sample from the song "Reverie" on this album! Sooooo maybe you should get on the internet and check this album out!
Oooh another cool thing I did in Ashland was play Nintendo 64 on a super huge screen! The Hidden Springs Wellness Center has a large circular room that is actually a converted yurt, and it has a projector! As you probably guessed, we used that projector to play Nintendo 64 like the Big Tymers would have: bigly. We played Mario Kart 64 and Goldeneye and it was pretty sweet! Oh yeah, we also used it to watch the Akira Kurosawa film Dreams. It was the second time I'd seen this film, so I wasn't surprised when the monster jumped through the window.
Well that's about it for now, I spose. I'd just like to mention that I realize my little comment posting thing on the sidebar is making pop-up ads appear, which just isn't fair for all my loyal readers. I'm going to replace it with one that won't be all crazy soon, so watch out! Okay, gotta go, buy!
whoa ho ho
